Warrior Service is a 501c3, non-profit organization formed in 2014 to assist military veterans in reconnecting with their lives through purpose and meaning. These coordinated activities provide the opportunity for veterans, immediate family members, and caregivers to experience the outdoors through camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and many other activities. Our events allow people a chance to break from their daily struggles and build relationships with others who may have similar stories. Participants have the time to work on themselves and discover new solutions to their challenges while enjoying the outdoors. For many, it provides an opportunity to see parts of the country they may otherwise never experience and in the process of the trip, the camaraderie, and the common objective of the activity, perhaps to find peace within themselves. These trips also provide the opportunity for Warrior Service to share information about benefits and assistance which many veterans are not aware of or for which they didn’t know they were qualified.
