Warrior Service was founded by Captain David Libby of the US Army. David retired from the military after 23 years of service. He has reconnected himself to the outdoors and his life through hunting, fishing, camping, boating and pretty much any activity related to the outdoors. In his rediscovery of the outdoors and himself he put together a team of volunteers and started to share these experiences with other veterans, their immediate family members and caregivers. The result has been an organization devoted to reconnect individuals to their lives through the many programs offered by Warrior Service. “Nothing touches me more than watching someone participate in one of our programs that has a life changing effect on them.” Participants find and receive the services they are due through camaraderie and at the same time, get out of their everyday life and get active again; for some, the first time in years.
